What Have You Been Up To?

Last Wednesday, we were given a task, to capture things we see around us. These are the scenes I catched from the streets of QC and Manila.

KINGDOMLESS KING - This man is a homeless man, no family and mentally-ill. He can be seen in the  busy road of A. Bonifacio where huge trucks pass. (ABonifacio, Quezon City)

CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE -  The stoplight signaled stop, and this man is a perfect example of a street violator. (ABonifacio, Quezon City)

DAY OFF - Two housemaids checking their photos from the resident photographer. (Luneta Park, Manila)

TOGETHER - Busy man who manage the posters that we see in Luneta Park. 

EN ROUTE TO BACLARAN - Wednesday, June 20 2013, is Baclaran day and this is the route for the church devotees. 

STREET SALES- Buying water will be very easy  for those people who are inside their cars or inside the public vehicles.

SHUT UP AND DRIVE - A perfect example of a violator,: smoking while driving. 

FLOOD PREVENTION - Salute to these two metro aids who keep the streets clean.

THE DUETS - A shameful performance of these two old man peeing in a public place.

AN OLD MAN'S HEAVY LOAD - An empty kariton being pushed by the old man who does not have anything to bring home for his family. 

WHEN IT'S COLD OUTSIDE- The man chose not to stay inside his humble home.

SIESTA - A tired vendor from Balintawak market.

SemBreak Drama '12

These are the bts pictures of our short film "15 Days" starring Ms. Nicole Ann Reyes. It was shot for five days during our sembreak. It's our first time to make a serious film that is why as beginners, our main goal here is to try and enjoy at the same time. 

I really wanted to make a film but I know I can't make it all by myself because I am not good in editing videos. So I called my friend Joanne San Pedro and asked for her help and she said that she's willing to help me. So there. I started creating the story. I told myself that I have to consider the time, place, the actors and our budget. 

When I finished the story, I asked my friend, Vince Guba if he can help  me too. It'll be hard kung kami lang dalawa ni jho. He said yes to me agad-agad.

Nicole, our main character, is my classmate before. I've seen their theater play and she can really act well. I asked her through facebook chat and she said yes to me. She's a nice girl, very professional, and never na late sa shoot. Nakakatouch pa nga dahil wala kaming binibigay na anything sakanya except sa food na pinoprovide namin every shooting day, but still, you can feel kay Nicole na she loves what she's doing kahit walang kapalit. So let me take this opportunity to thank you for helping us. I assume na mababasa mo to, I love you girl. Huggg! :)

Also, I'd like to thank everyone that has been part of this short film. I know hindi ito major short film, this is something na experiment lang namin, but still, you helped us.

To my friends Jillian Javier, Maffi Tafalla, Jhumel Villamor, Vanessa Lozada, and Angelique Trapsi, thank you. I know wala itong grades na kasama, naistorbo lang namin kayo, but still umarte kayo para sa amin. Na-appreciate ko lahat ng efforts nyo and salamat sa time. God bless you guys!

I'd like to thank the Quiapo kids, salamat sa pag arte. :) Sana ay nabusog namin kayo, and just wanna let you know na I've learned so much from you. :-)

Salamat din sa family ni Vince and Jho sa pagpapatuloy at pagbusog sa akin. Also, sa mga kabarangay ni Vince sa Perfecto St. (somewhere in Tayuman Pritil), maraming salamat po sa inyo.
